Our shop is in Ottawa, at 1255 Humber Place, ten minutes from the international airport. Most of our work sits within about ninety minutes of it, and the crates themselves ship worldwide.
One Shop, One Crew, One Standard
Everything we build comes out of the same Ottawa facility. There is no network of subcontractors and no crate that gets made somewhere else and shipped in. The crew that designs your crate is the crew that builds it, and that is true whether the job is going ten minutes down the road or across an ocean.
What changes by region is how we get to you. Locally we can come and look at a machine before quoting it, or build on site when equipment cannot travel. Further out we work from dimensions and photos, and the crate travels to you finished.

The Regions We Cover
Ottawa is home and where the bulk of our work sits. From there we reach across Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec, and along the corridor toward Montreal and Toronto for larger projects.
Our facility is at 1255 Humber Place, and Ottawa is where most of our work happens. Defence and government suppliers, aerospace firms, high-tech companies shipping servers and test equipment, manufacturers, and galleries moving fine art. Being local means we can look at a machine before quoting it and build on site when it should not travel uncrated.
Kanata, Stittsville, Nepean, Orleans and the surrounding communities all sit comfortably inside our regular working area. See crating services in Ottawa.
Arnprior, Smiths Falls, Kingston, Brockville and Cornwall are all within our normal travel radius, along with the towns and industrial areas between them.
This is manufacturing and industrial country, and most of the work here is machinery crating, plant relocations and export builds. For anything bolted to a floor, our crew brings materials and a forklift and builds around it where it stands.
Gatineau and the surrounding area are ten minutes from the shop across the river, so they are effectively part of our home market. We work with manufacturers, distributors and government suppliers on the Quebec side regularly.
Crates built for export from this side carry the same ISPM-15 stamp, CA-01303 HT, as everything else we produce.
For larger projects and recurring production work we travel the corridor in both directions. This tends to be plant relocations, multi-crate industrial jobs and OEM production runs where the volume justifies the distance.
If you are somewhere along that stretch and unsure whether it makes sense, send us the details. We will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit or whether someone closer would serve you better.
Why Distance
Matters
For most freight, where the packaging gets made is irrelevant. For engineered crating it is not. A crate built to the wrong dimensions is a wasted week, and the only reliable way to avoid that is to measure the asset properly.
Close to home we can come and do that in person. Further out we work from your dimensions and photos, which works perfectly well but puts more weight on getting the detail right up front. Either way, tell us where you are and we will be straight with you about what is practical.
- Site visits across the local region
- Onsite crate builds with our own forklift
- Remote quoting from dimensions and photos
- Honest advice when we are not the right fit
Available Across

Our facility is at 1255 Humber Place, Ottawa, ON K1B 3W2, about ten minutes from Ottawa International Airport. It is a Class A warehouse with six loading docks, and every crate we build is made there. You can reach us on 613-850-9645.
Most of our work sits within roughly ninety minutes of the shop, covering Ottawa, Kanata, Stittsville, Nepean, Orleans, Gatineau, Arnprior, Smiths Falls, Kingston, Brockville and Cornwall. For larger projects we travel further along the Montreal to Toronto corridor. Send us the location and we will tell you honestly whether it makes sense.
Yes, regularly. Gatineau is minutes from the shop across the river, so it is effectively part of our home market. We work with manufacturers, distributors and government suppliers on the Quebec side.
Yes. When machinery is bolted down until the day it moves, or should not travel uncrated, our crew comes to you with materials and our own forklift and builds the crate around the equipment where it stands. See our onsite crating service.
Send us the details anyway. For larger projects the distance often works out fine, and if it does not we will say so rather than take the job and do it badly. Crates we build ship worldwide regardless of where they are made.
For local work, yes. Further afield it depends on the job, and for many shipments the crate is collected from our dock by your transport company or freight forwarder. We will confirm what makes sense when we quote.
The crates are identical, since everything is built in the same shop by the same crew. What changes is how we gather the information. Locally we can visit and measure in person. Further out we work from your dimensions and photos, which works well but puts more weight on getting the detail right up front.
Yes. Our Controlled Goods Program registration and security-assessed crew apply wherever the work happens, including on site at your facility. Mention that an item is controlled when you request a quote so we plan the handling and documentation properly.
Our crates do. Export builds use certified heat treated lumber marked with our IPPC stamp, CA-01303 HT, which customs authorities read to confirm compliance. Export permits for the goods themselves remain with the exporter of record. See our export crating service.
Send the product, quantity, dimensions, weight and destination through the quote form below, along with your location if the work needs to happen on site. You will typically have a quote with timeline within 1 to 2 business days.
